It is only sixty-one days until the 27th annual Unregistered Baptist Fellowship meeting will convene at the facilities of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple in Indianapolis. There will be many preachers over a three day period that will not only be exalting the Lord Jesus Christ, but will be obeying the command of scripture to defend the great fundamentals of the faith in this age of skepticism, atheism, and liberalism.

For 16 years the leaders of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple refused to withhold federal taxes from their employees' paychecks or to pay federal taxes as an employer. The protest came to an end Feb. 13, 2001, when federal marshals seized the church building to pay taxes and fines totalling $6 million.

It is hard to believe that ten years have flown by this quickly since that fateful, cold day ten years ago on Feb. 13, 2001, when Federal Marshals crashed into the sanctuary of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple, carried out those of us who were praying at the altar in front of the church auditorium, padlocked the doors, and turned the property over to a receiver, who eventually sold $6 million worth of property for $1.5 million to the Chrystel House Foundation for a Charter School.
